Meg MoonbeamWestern

What this covers

The upcoming solar eclipse in Leo on August 12th, occurring alongside Pluto’s rare out-of-bounds shift to the south, marks a pivotal astrological turning point of profound transformation, collective empowerment, and personal sovereignty. This event, amplified by Jupiter, Mercury, and the South Node all in Leo, catalyzes a powerful release of self-serving behaviors, abuse of power, and outdated systems, while activating a grand air trine between Venus, Pluto, and Uranus that supports clarity, truth-telling, and karmic justice—particularly in relationships, public accountability, and boundary-setting. The intense energy is further shaped by Mercury’s opposition to Pluto, exposing hidden truths and secrets, as seen in recent events like the Anthony Fouchy congressional hearing. As Mars enters Cancer, emotional sensitivity and psychic intuition intensify, challenging individuals to act with courage despite discomfort, while the moon’s shift to Virgo offers grounding and practical application of insights. Despite global tensions and challenges such as Venus opposite Neptune, the eclipse season in Leo also holds immense potential for joy, creative expression, personal abundance, and bold, playful action—especially through the Mercury-Jupiter conjunction in Leo at 10° Capricorn, which opens doors to long-term success, financial gain, and alignment with one’s inner child. Tarot symbolism reinforces themes of dynamic initiative, mindful communication, effortless prosperity, and celebration of authentic connections.
